We’re a band with a love for the tunes that shaped generations. From the raw energy of 50s rock ’n’ roll to the attitude of punk, the soul of blues, and the unforgettable hooks of 80s and 90s pop—we bring it all together in one set.
Our music is an eclectic mix of the well-known classics you can’t help but sing along to, and the hidden gems you forgot you loved. Whether it’s gritty guitar riffs, smooth soul grooves, or sing-along anthems, we play the songs that move us, and hopefully, move you too!
At the heart of it, we’re just a group of music lovers sharing the tracks that we love, and still get us excited every time we play them.

Canoe isn’t just a band name, it’s how we work. Like a canoe on the water, people step in, people step out, but the journey keeps moving forward. The faces may change, but the music stays true. Since 2000, Canoe has been carrying a rotating crew of musicians, each bringing their own flavour while keeping the same shared love for great tunes.
Based in Birmingham uk, we’re all about playing the music that gets people moving; whether that’s a packed pub, a lively event, or a celebration that needs a proper soundtrack. Our sets are built to make you smile, sing along, and yes… maybe even get up and shake a leg!
